And people will try to deny siding with him. And if the left didn't impeach then the right just says "Well if you hated him so much, why didn't you impeach him? Checkmate!" Not going for the impeachment is essentially tolerating his actions, which isn't the right move. It may not be politicaly convenient, but it's the right thing to do.
