If Zimmerman literally did nothing wrong, he wouldn't have had an issue winning the case. Especially since legally in Florida you are allowed to stand your ground. It is the name of the law. Zimmerman's legal counsel decided that there wasn't enough evidence to suggest that he was totally innocent, and PAID OVER A MILLION DOLLARS to settle out of court. He paid a million dollars to make it go away over fighting it. Zimmerman states that he got jumped and he didn't do anything legally wrong. If you don't do anything legally wrong, you can't be guilty of a wrongful death. I'll say this. I wouldn't say that he planned a murder. I can't even say he planned a violent confrontation. He was ready for a violent confrontation.It happened, he shot a kid who was unarmed. And he paid a million dollars to make a "wrongful death" suit go away. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
