| Topic | Never played the DMC series beyond 3 and I'm not sure I want to. |

Dante plays completely different. 5 is actually mechanically better than 3 but everything else is worse. Theres multiple characters to play but you may not like their different playstyles. I outright dont like Vs levels. Dante and Nero are at their best though. The level designs are mostly terrible which is kind of disappointing. Anyway, I'd say both are worth playing. I did not care for DmC. It plays very differently. Like the series had a baby with God of War. It's not the worst game but it's the worst in the series.
