And I convinced my dad to buy us one for Christmas. With the exception of the pong machine we had, it was my first proper console. I remember using index cards to write down high scores, so my bros and friends could keep track of who had the highest scores. Edit also I remember taking off the rubber on the joysticks leaving the white plastic stick. And also that they worked with the Commodore computers of the day. We had the wood grained one.
