| Serious Cat 11/29/19 1:26:37 PM #28: | My pet peeve is the misconception that accepting a pardon implies and/or requires an admission of guilt. The ruling stemmed from a specific case where the intention was to pardon someone in order to compel them to give what could otherwise be considered self-incriminating testimony. They declined the pardon, refused to testify, and were held in contempt.
