It is subtle, sweet, and doesn't slap you in the face with a 18 inch dildo screaming "BUY OUR STUFF!!!" Eh. It is still ultimately manipulating you and trying to twist your nostalgia into buying their product. It's not like it tells you anything about the product, how good it is, what it does or the cost and just wants to take advantage of people's memories of a film growing up. Certainly good on their end as it is masked well, but it still remains the same deceptive intent as all commercials in the end. If they can get you to associate their brand with this rather than their actual reputation, then that's all they care about. But can't deny it's a damn good commercial. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
