One of the reasons being an extrovert is attractive when it comes to social outings is because it often means the person is also up for changing those plans if something better comes along. And if you're someone new to the group and say no, well....live and learn.

you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means to be an extrovert or an introvert

We're not going to agree on that, but it's okay. Different interpretations.

I'm just saying from my lengthy experience hanging out with extroverts addicted to partying: when they're dying to get buzzed, saying "hold on a minute" doesn't often work. And that's especially true when a "newbie" like TC gets invited to tag along and does exactly that. They were not invested much in him socially yet, so they were less likely to reason waiting for him when they were already set to go.

It's a tough break, but not an uncommon one. It happens to a lot of people, even those of us who know "the rules". TC is better off not taking it personally and just treat it as a life lesson. Now that he knows what to do, he might enjoy catching that boat next time.

it's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. based on your posts itt, you do not know what "introverted" and "extroverted" mean

hint: it doesn't have anything to do with whether or not someone enjoys socializing
