He got modded for trolling by saying that "They ended slavery" when someone asked why anyone has any reason to support Republicans.
Made a topic where he reposted the message that got modded then railed off on the mods for being out to get him for posting 'facts'
Speculation but i assume he got warned for instantly reposting a moderated message and then banned because he backtalked them in his dispute and the mods got sick of his shit.
close. his initial moderation was because of a response to a message i made. the thread was about thinking up silly alternate meanings for the "GOP" abbreviation, and i posted that what it literally stands for ("Grand Old Party") is laughable enough, because who the fuck unironically refers to themselves as the "Grand Old Party", and he posted something about "the party that ended slavery" or whatever.
tbh i don't think it was that bad of trolling, not worth this whole big stink it caused, but reposting and whining about it was a poor choice indeed. and this thread is the first i'm hearing about an even worse post on another board, too.
Sounds like he didn't have to let it get that far but he pushed his luck
