Topic	Hate to admit it, but 2000s fake emo was pretty good sometimes in retrospect
SMAP- 11/22/19 1:14:58 AM #11:	tamagucci posted... jimmy eat world is fake emo? joke topic oh yeah, me figuring out that they actually started as a real emo band was what initially got me giving all these groups a second chance. the song I posted, while a total jam, doesnt really sound like emo to me, but I know their early stuff has more in common with the genre im not gonna argue really since genres are really only useful for finding similar music, but Ive just never really heard the connection these groups have to older, political emo that I grew up on from the 80s/90s.
