Tifa's mom died and she thought that she could "see her again" if she crossed Mt. Nibel. She was 9 at the time, so she didn't really understand the whole concept of death. She went with her friends, and Cloud followed behind. The rest of her friends eventually bailed, leaving only Tifa going up the mountain with Cloud behind her. Tifa fell, and Cloud tried to save her but couldn't. She was hurt pretty badly. The people in the Nibelheim assumed it was Cloud who took Tifa up there, and blamed him for her being hurt. Cloud just took it, because he didn't want Tifa to get in trouble. He also blamed himself for not being strong enough to save her. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
