The Disney trilogy is absolutely chock-full of parallels and references to the original trilogy, but one thing we have not seen yet is for something we took for granted about a character's backstory to only be "true from a certain point of view". This could be it.
At least according to the "leaks" that people seem to be going by in this thread, Rey takes the Skywalker name at the end of the film. The leaks don't mention her being revealed to have any blood connection to the family, nor does she marry in or anything. I think the idea is that this is supposed to be about founding some kind of clan or something.
Very possible. The Jedi are done, Luke was adament of this. Rey may start a new good guy force group, with more realistic ideals while still being light side
