What little Ive seen makes it look like a generic romcom/drama. You know, the kind where the ugly girl is a loser because she doesnt get along with most people and likes being rebellious except you find out later that she has a heart of gold and is really awesome and attractive. Whatever flaws she has arent usually a big deal like a debilitating mental illness, and are more of a quirk thats kind of cute and endearing. Her character arc, if there is one, is prompted by a crisis like she or a loved one is dying or some charity or school needs to be saved. Of course, a male stranger, who looks like a model and is the opposite of homeless, falls in love with her and helps her to realize her potential to save the world, but the whole time youre wondering why in the fuck would he ever be interested in her, in the first place.
