He set out to find a quicker way to India to make some bank, accidentally discovered there were islands in the way, and later he treated natives terribly and had no regard for their lives because he considered them less than human. Even in Europe at the time they flipped and locked him up when they found out. It has nothing to do with being woke or shaming people, its just that Columbus in particular was a shitty person that did something notable historically. --- More malicious than mischievous ...
