That's how I entertain myself on the internet. For nearly 20 seasons it was nothing but net and aging like wine, but im objective enough to take my fanboy glasses off and know when its clearly gone downhill and in a very bad direction creatively. I respect them for TRYING a continuous storyline for one season, but it failed and they shouldve left it at that. Unless you watch every single episode, youll have no Goddamn idea whats going on. Before you could pick it up again any time and laugh your ass off. When a show is running for 20+ seasons you must do something different. If you maintain the same formula people lose interest. It's your viewpoint, which is fine, but a lot of people disagree. I've watched it since day one, and still keep up with every season, there's enough appeal for me to keep watching it. I think the "Simpsons did it" episode highlighted the fact that after so many years it's really difficult to keep making a single episode focused on a single thing and keep it fresh week after week. I think the previous two seasons before this one have been weak, not bad, but not as strong, but i've been loving this season. --- Ten million dollars on a losing campaign, Twenty million starving and writhing in pain.
