I obviously can't link directly to it but I've got it searchable, and so many moderations were for nothing. To this day, a month or two ago I received a moderation asking if Obama's withholding of aid from Africa would be quid pro quo in hindsight. Mods removed it for no reason other than bias as seen ITT. All the way back to 2011 when I said Obama was a community organizer (he was) and spent his time in office on himself doing more fundraising than any modern president (he did). So forget about insults, factual statements were once considered off-limits during the big push for Obama. I'll give you another example: I have been secondhand moderated multiple times. What does that mean? A topic just like this one on the Politics board, where LOL was in the title, and a mod found the LOL to be offensive. I did not create the topic. But because I was post #100-whatever, because the mod didn't like the title somebody else made, I was the only one in that topic moderated for it. The topic itself remains standing to this day because it's not a violation. They were just looking for reasons to moderate me. There would be less political moderations if people knew how to discuss. What are the mods discussing here? Do you see a discussion going on? If the behavior here is going on in a public forum, are worse things being said about users in private? And actually I have seen some of it and it's not a good look, to say the least. I have been told by a former mod to do certain things to myself that can't be repeated here. And on the flipside of things, anyone can tell you that when I'm on Politics I always stay on subject and yet I'm often the only one targeted for moderation, by certain people who are not interested in discussion. Take a look at ID 14739526 where I answer a question that was being asked from multiple users, and it's nothing but a link from what the prime minister and majority MP had to say a few days before an election. I did not opinionate on it at all. Now take a look at what the mod wrote and all of it is punishing me for what other people said, he's also secondhand moderating me again over somebody else's topic title. And while you're at it take a look at that topic and you tell me who's being helpful and advancing discussion, providing answers and so on. Me, right here.
