I'm Gen X and I must confess to a little shadenfreude at Boomers here. I was raised by Boomers & heard all their bullshit (there was good stuff too, to be fair). I don't think Gen X really targeted Boomers politically, but Boomers clearly targeted the generations before them. Seems they can't stand the taste of their own medicine.


It's actually kinda fun to watch, as an X'er.

It's like the Millenials and Boomers a launching boulders at each other...and we're just in the middle watching them fly overhead as we wait to see what happens when they land.

Yeah. For better or worse, gen X was too small and boomers lived longer than previous generations, so gen X never really got a shot at world leadership - at least not yet. To me it seems like gen X made more of an impact on technology and culture than politics.


Gen X is the power behind the tech revolution. They don't need world leadership when they run the internet.


I think for X'ers the adage, "Anyone smart enough for the job, wouldn't want it" stands true.
