Topic | What WPM should a good typist be able to ascertain? |

Yeah, I see that apparently the common typist usually reaches around 50-60 wpm, but then I also see sometimes within the same post that you're only considered 'good' once you reach around 90 wpm, so I feel like I'm receiving mixed signals. I would presume 'good' would be like 70 wpm for a common typist. I doubt I could work as a stenographer, those guys usually hit like upwards of 200 wpm. Maybe with training, but I feel like I'm good enough to have some sort of secretarial job and would rather not have to train for a position. inTaCtfuL posted... Like 80? Yeah, I dunno. Like I said in the aforementioned post, I see people posting wild gaps of what's considered 'poor,' 'average,' and 'good.' --- take me somewhere nice ... Copied to Clipboard! |
