Itll go away once it pays for the project Remember: Income tax started at 1%. Then they raised to 2%. Taxes went up slowly but not enough to not cause an outrage. Now we are nearing 15%. Wheres the uproar? Infrastructure is a mess. Education got worse despite pumping more money into it. And now California is struggling to pay off pensions. My guess is that why are hoping these old geezers die off pretty soon because theres no way to pay pensions. Millenials are growing tired (and broke) of paying for benefits they had no say in. Theres something evil about plundering the wealth of future generations, but apparently I'm just an entitled millennial who went broke eating avocados. No it wasnt the taxes, it was the avocados. The fifth largest economy is trouble and a collapse in California will have ripple effects throughout the country and the world. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
