Topic	Is there any reason for me to play Peacewalker and Ground Zeroes before MGS V?

Ive heard the story isnt that great in V, so do I need to play the other 2 games that came before it first? Isnt Ground Zeroes really short? I could give that one a go if it is. Oh and portable ops comes before GZ, too, right? Yeah I also dont feel like watching a walkthrough or reading a summary of that one. I guess what Im asking is, does TPP stand well on its own?
