| The Top Crusader 10/28/19 2:27:39 PM #7: | There are certainly some similarities, but really I dunno why TNA never took off, they had a few very solid years there in... eh, the mid 00's or so? They always were a little bad about pushing random guys that just got let go by WWE but they had a good mix of young talent and guys like Angle and Sting. Yet there was never even a fraction of the hype that AEW has. Maybe TNA just came about too soon after the deaths of WCW and ECW, and to be fair the early TNA shows on the weekly PPVs were basically like extentions of 2001 WCW with more midget wrestlers. It took a few years for it to get away from that and by then maybe it was too late? --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
