The Asterix multimedia franchise is a long-lived cultural presence throughout continental Europe, but all those countries likely only host a few percentage points of GameFAQs voters combined. As for the rest of the world, I'll put his obscurity this way: I remember enjoying watching my brother play Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix when we were kids, and that puts me ahead of a good 90%+ of voters when it comes to recognizing/caring about Asterix whatsoever.
