The gimmicks were over the top and the angles were too crazy to be real, but it was entertaining...These days its just "i'm a strong guy who is mad at another strong guy and i'm gonna beat him!"..that works for the MMA or Boxing where the match is real..not when you know the outcome is predetermined..there's little to no character any more.
