Each time I was laid off it only lasted a month. In hindsight thats not bad, and was a nice little vacation. Except for the fact that when I was laid off I didnt know at the time it would only be for a month. The company didnt know either. They said Id be back as soon as they got a new client for me, which could have taken many months. Here I am 5 years later and still cant get over the fear I felt during that time. And again, they liked me.
