However it goes without saying that the odds of them ever being last with characters like Zidane and especially Vivi in the mix are essentially nil. Not impossible, just highly improbable. Zidane's peak is like 15th in recent contests. An Amarant meme run can get past that. (Still won't be beating Vivi in ordinary circumstances.) Keep in mind that Edward is one of the weakest characters in the history of the contest, and Cecil and Rydia are still alive to suck up FF4 core votes... and he's not in any danger of going out soon.
