It matters to get in touch with the dude or dudette who's hiring. I did get in touch with the parts manager, multiple times. After not getting him on the phone for two days straight after him saying he'd call (he was busy with end of the month stuff), I personally stopped at his dealership and met with him face to face. That's when he told me that the director of bodyshop operations for the entire management group had recommended another candidate. No_U_L7 posted... treewojima posted... My work wife tells me CarMax is hiring in their parts dept with better pay and benefits, plus I know one of the women that works the back counter, she's a sweetheart.
