| Lightning Strikes 09/28/19 4:08:08 PM #1: | I was listening to the Empire podcast and this came up regarding the failure of The Goldfinch, a disastrous adaptation of an acclaimed and very long book. Most good adaptations of doorstoppers split them into parts (LotR, Deathly Hallows, It). So what is the longest book to have made a good single film?
