Like, millions of kids get raised and have been raised through history in less than ideal situations, most turn out fine. Like, people in general are pretty resilient
It's a financial drain on parents though and often parents dont have the savings for retirement because of raising kids. My dad for instance is still working past retirement age and he just did a reverse mortgage on his house.
