You truly believe the vast majority in your social circle have never said or done anything offensive? That's what the scrutiny line is referring to, not specifically racism. I can believe that easily, but I've always lived in multicultural, civilized areas. With the caveat that no offense was intended, at least. There is no caveat. Saying no offense intended doesnt protect you from someone finding it offensive 10 years later. The likelihood that anyone hasnt said at least one thing questionable in their lives at some point is quite low...but that is because times were different then and we are different now. Anyway, the guy apologized. Also love that the reporter that dug these up had his own racist and questionable tweets dug up. Cancel culture karma. --- This is my signature.
