It's laughable that the only defense available now is "well the information the whistleblower used was second hand" when the summarized transcript of the call directly corroborates those portions of the whistleblower's allegations. Any reasonable person would take from that they idea that the rest of the allegations deserve to be investigated. It's worth noting that the Inspector General did a preliminary review to determine the credibility of the complaint, and found it credible without even needing to access the records of the call.
