That's not what Wikipedia's telling me, but I always knew it was vague and contested.

Did you read that link?

Al-Tabari says she was nine at the time her marriage was consummated.[32]Sahih al-Bukhari's hadith says "that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old."[33] Other sources differ on the age of marriage, but agree that the marriage was not consummated at the time of the marriage contract.[34] All biographical information on Muhammad and his companions was first recorded over a century after his death,[35] but the ahadith[36] and sra (traditional Islamic biographies of Muhammad) provide records of early Islam through an unbroken chain of transmission. Various ahadith stating that Aisha was either nine or ten at the time of her consummation come from collections with sahih status, meaning they are regarded as reputable by most Sunni Muslims.[33][37] Other traditional sources also mention Aisha's age. The sra of Ibn Ishaq edited by Ibn Hisham states that she was nine or ten years old at the consummation.[38] The historian al-Tabari also states that she was nine.

Every source says the same thing. That the consummation was at 9.

Back then, they would have sex after their first period. So he married her at 6 then had sex when she had her first period at 9.

I can't find a source that doesn't say this.
