Not really. When asked why they didn't come to Castille's defense they came out with some bullshit about "he had marijuana in his system" - something that was immaterial to the incident and which the police officer could not have known.


Truly the oldest anti-cannabis propaganda in the book. They used to put up posters that basically said, Weed makes black people violent.

Not surprising to see the NRA use racist propaganda from the 20s to explain their position.
