I don't get it. Dave Chappelle is perfectly fine after his special debuted, and that's an indicator that even though people are complaining on the internet, comedian's careers are not in danger of being "canceled"
There's a documentary coming out next month ("No Safe Spaces") on PC culture and its impacts, including the effect it may have had on comedy clubs. So I guess we'll find out soon enough who was and wasn't really affected. You can just hand wave it away before it comes out, though, because it stars Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager with a special guest appearance by Jordan Peterson. I'm expecting fireworks on CE when it drops.
I like the concept of that documentary, but I vomited when you mentioned Adam Carolla. Dude just sounds so full of himself whenever he tries to make a point. Has a very "kids these days" attitude about him that involves constantly patting himself on the back for how he handles situations.
Adam Carolla is a great. I've enjoyed his work since the old Loveline days. ---
