How the fuck do you fuck that role up? The entire role is just an excuse to go crazy and have fun and be manic. IT's a dream role for any actor with charisma. What's Leto's excuse? "Oh the script sucked." you think Romero and Hamil never got handed shitty scripts? Half of Ledger's lines were awful melodramatic nonsense but he pulled something into it by his performance. Leto was just so utterly boring Reminded me of this guy Leto got 2 scenes... every other seen that he was in got cut in favor of keeping the story towards the suicide squad portion of the film. He could have been as good as Ledger, sadly we will never know. We only got to see 2 pieces of him. Even Joaquins version doesn't convince me. They need someone who can properly portray the cartoon adaptation of the character.
