This is probably Trump's kind of humour. Here's a funny anecdote Trump told on radio that's related.

Beautiful marble floor, it didnt look so good. I forgot to call, the next day I forgot to call to say, is he OK. He was OK, its just not my thing. I just dont like looking at blood.
