Topic	When you cut an onion, do you cut both sides before pealing, or do you peal it..

If I'm just doing easy slices, I'll hold the root and slice the onion. If I'm dicing, I'll make several flat cuts parallel to my board from the flat end to the root without cutting the root along the height of the onion.
