Does he have a cardiac myxoma?

Those are far and away the most common cardiac tumors, and actually have a great prognosis if treated surgically.

Not sure yet, they're doing what's called a Pet Scan on Monday to find and where everything is, then they're gonna Biopsy to find out specifically what it is.

Is it on a "stalk" and sort of bounces around?

Myxomas are generally benign tumors. The big risk is that they can break loose and cause a stroke, which is why you surgically remove them.

I obviously don't know what you have, and am just going on what I know about common cardiac tumors. But if it's a myxoma, you're probably going to be fine.

A PET scan is where they give you radioactive glucose and check to see what tissues are consuming it the most. These tissues tend to be cancerous, as cancer undergoes faster metabolism than normal tissue. Benign tumors often don't light up on PET scans, though.
