I've looked into this claim. It's true, but it was something he never actually meant to happen. He just wanted to say something so horrible that they would reject it, but they barely even understood what they were told to write, and pdp clearly did not expect that result.

I'll go out on a limb and say that his alt right fanbase does come from this stunt and his using a racial slur in an angry outburst at a videogame, but it's incidental.

Hell, why even call it alt right, though? What lack of overlap is there? On the venn diagram, I see only one circle.


Don't make justifications for people pushing hate speech.
