It seems like its virtually impossible to get into Hell by virtue of their God being all-merciful. Theres even a story in Islam about a guy who is meant to be sent to Hell (Jahannam). But he basically just keeps asking God for another minute of looking at Heaven (Paradise) before he has to face his punishment, like a little kid who keeps asking for 5 more minutes in bed when their parent is getting them up for school. Anyway, eventually God just says fuck it, you can come in. In other words, it seems like God doesnt want anyone to go to an actual Hell, yet Hell has always been a focus of institutionalized religion.
