Ever since he's potty trained he's always pooped completely buck naked. Every time. Not sure why, I've tried to convince him that he doesn't need to disrobe.
Guess he couldn't pull his pants off over his shoes and had a moment of panic lol
I vaguely remember doing the same thing as a 4 year old. I'd take off my pants and underwear off completely but kept my shirt on whenever I had to poop. I think I grew out of that by kindergarten. I also remember NEVER using public bathrooms until high school. I pooped like clockwork after I got home from school and always just held my bladder throughout the day.
