Real talk: this is the main problem with Overwatch's sustained popularity as a game. It built its initial design on giving a bunch of characters ridiculous abilities and going "all the wackiness will balance each other out!". But as the game has progressed, people optimized the dumb crap (anyone remember early Widowmaker?) and it became extremely unfun to play against.
