I loved the game, and played it basically non-stop for a solid 8 months or so. Literally every single day. I think my log-in streak was at like 295 days or thereabouts.
But the Fortuna update had some issues initially, and I ran into a big one. When they first launched the Orb Mother fight on the Vallis, you had to do a short questline to initiate the fight. But my game would glitch on the first mission. After completing the 2nd objective, the game just refused to trigger the 3rd objective and we'd just be stuck running around the Vallis forever. Couldn't ever complete the quest, so I couldn't unlock the fight, and I just really lost the drive to play. I'd log in every day basically just for the really basic stuff and to keep working towards the 300/350/400/etc day rewards, and then one day I just looked at the icon on my desktop and realized I'd forgotten to log in the day before. I haven't logged in since.
I hear there's been some great new content, and I never uninstalled it, so maybe I'll check it out again soon.
