If you think they are hot, and then you find out they are trans and think that is gross, you are most likely just lying to yourself because you don't want to catch the imaginary gay. You can't be literally only attracted to cis people, because you cant always tell. When you see a trans girl who passes, you just assume they aren't trans. So it feels like the only real trans people are one who you aren't attracted to. There is a good chance all these people who talk about how they would never be attracted to a trans person have already seen some and thought damn they are hot, but just didn't know the difference. If you think someone is hot, but change your mind after you find out they are trans, that is literally transphobic. Phobic doesn't always mean fear, it also can mean an extreme aversion to.
