I've had good interactions with their customer service. However I did run into one stupid thing about their payment system. I wanted to split a payment with my debit card and their own credit card. It wouldn't let me and I had to escalate through like 5 people before some manager person finally told me I couldn't do that and would have to purchase gift cards and add them to my account if I wanted to split a payment using their credit card


Ok but I've never seen an option to do that anywhere online. Maybe you should be able to but it isn't the same type of payment system as a check out line.

The Amazon credo is customer obsession which creates a culture of fear if you don't know the answer. They don't want to give you misinformation but they can't say they don't know. Given that most of the CS team is poor Indians they don't necessarily understand systems and tech.
