Im usually the kinda guy who says dont think too hard about time travel storylines because theyre always a mess. I tend to say, just suspend your disbelief, but this movies ending completely changes 3 different characters motivations.

The whole reason Wade sacrifices himself and allows himself to die is to change Russells mindset and turn him into a good person. To let him know that someone would die for him...But if the bullet never penetrates Wade and he never gives his powerful speech to Russell, how does this change the boy at all?...

Then we have Wade who dies, goes to heaven and reunites with his wife. This is all he cared about. He sacrificed his life for something good! And now he can rest happily...But instead, when hes ripped away back to life, he doesnt give a fuck?! Hes not even angry that these people pulled him away from his wife? He should be furious.

Then we have Cable, who traveled back in time to save his family. Just because blood disappears from the teddy bear doesnt mean he knows everything is safe. He doesnt even fully know what happened to his family. Wouldnt he want to travel back to the future and see? But instead he wastes his one way ticket on Deadpool for no reason...

Dont get me wrong, I love the movie but that last 5 minute really pisses me off. Im all for looking over silly time travel mistakes in writing, but this writing completely fucks 3 characters for no reason. They should have just ended the movie with Wade in heaven, and if they wanted a Deadpool 3, they could have found a way to resurrect him in that movie...
