Topic	I just wanna say something controversial and dumb without getting modded

On the one hand it's all girl power, but it's from the 90s (unless it was, like, a 2000 movie, I don't remember)... but she overcomes obstacles by her own merits, so it's a good message, but the humour is really vapid Not sure It has a mixed legacy. The overall story is eventually very girl-power considering that she ends up taking things seriously, triumphs over adversity, and finds purpose in law school beyond being there to reconnect with an ex. At the same time, she has a lot of characteristics that make her a poor role model for girls. It's a "good" feminist movie, as opposed to something like Captain Marvel. You play by the same rules as everyone else, get the prize at the end, be the lawyer.....nothing wrong with that. As opposed to being a Mary-Sue out of the box, and shattering the wrists of anyone trying to get to know you?.....that's the kind of feminism that sets back the movement 50 years just to prove a point. --- PSA: "Real Gamers" don't pay for Micro-transactions.
