No matter how educated, intelligent, polite, thoughtful you are, people will still look down upon you because of your race despite them not having much going for themselves other than their skin color. Well when you don't have your own accomplishments, you co-opt other peoples based on what you were born as. Exactly. "We" did this and "we" did that. No, you didn't do anything. notice they only say "we did that" when it comes to good things, like inventions. bring up all the atrocities and things like slavery and suddenly "hey, i had nothing to do with that!" every time I have used this argument, the other person usually changes the argument, plays dumb or fucking aborts the entire conversation, lol. usually the last one it's a dead end argument and they know it. I don't know why these types refuse to just let go of that shit --- Never let those intent on misunderstanding you be the narrator to YOUR story! Context? Context!?
