Topic | Up-charge for a small drink and fries at McDonald's |
furb 08/21/19 8:07:01 PM #1: | Here's a question for you folks: does it cost more to order smalls at your local McDonald's? At mine, it does. If you pick something off the combo list, and ask for a small, they say it only comes in medium and large. I don't always want a giant thing of fries or drink, so this annoys me. Today, I tried ordering a small big mac combo. They informed me, as usual, it only comes in medium and large. Usually, I just sign and say medium is fine. Today, I asked if I could order each component separately. They said yes. So, I got a small unsweet tea, a small fry, and a big mac. It was like a dollar more expensive than ordering the combo as a large. How does that work? Why is a small more expensive than a large? More importantly, why do they not offer the combo as a small? It's not a big deal. I can always just order a medium and pay the normal combo price. I just do not understand the logic behind this. --- You know how fads are. Today it's brains, tomorrow, pierced tongues. Then the next day, pierced brains. -Jane Lane ... Copied to Clipboard! |
