If you're renting or living in an apartment you probably don't have the option since you don't own the property. This is what I mean by society mobilizing. This is an obstacle right now, but it shouldn't be. People who own homes have more control, but multi family units should be even easier in a way. Cities, states, and the feds should mandate it for apartments, condos, duplexes etc whenever possible.
