| Dreaming_King 08/20/19 6:44:17 PM #32: | There actually is something pretty screwed up about spending so much time traveling just to work, for a number of reasons. My 45 minute commute was the main reason I started looking for another job, and this new one pays slightly less and has fewer hours but the extra 80 minutes a day and Saturdays off feels so nice. Maybe I'm "privileged" because I don't have anyone else to look after or any debts or obligations or whatever so I can choose to trade away money for time... but still seems like the priorities of a lot of people I've met on the general issue of how much time is too much time to work (commuting might as well count as "work") are off. --- Nil- ...
