Topic	Is 2 step verification really make my account safe?

I activated the two step authentication and people were still trying to access my account sporadically afterwards but were unable to successfully log in because I had initiated the two step process. This exact same thing happened to me. I was getting verification texts daily as someone was trying to access my account. They never could get into it though because I had 2 step on.
